The Museum is situated on the northern edge
of Grafham Water, 18 miles west of Cambridge just off the B661
By Road
From the north take the A1 signposted to Cambridge or from the south
take the A1 signposted to Peterborough. After the A14 if from the
north, or before if from the south, take the B661 at Stirtloe, head
for Grafham and turn left when you reach the village.
From the west take the A14 to Brampton, join
the A1 south and follow the directions as above or from the east,
approaching on the A427, join the A14 at Eaton Socon and travel
north to join the B661 at Stirtloe, or if approaching on the A14
join the A1 at Bramton and follow directions as above.
By Bus
The museum is served by Stagecoach International buses on routes
between Leicester, Harwich, Huntingdon, Peterborough and Coventry.

Stagecoach International offer combined entry to the Museum and
unlimited travel on all Stagecoach International buses. Just ask
the driver for a 'Natural History Project ticket'.
The nearest rail station is Cambridge 18 miles
to the east of the Museum.

International Visitors
The museum is approximately four hour's drive from London Gatwick
Airport, two and a half hours from London Heathrow Airport and thirty
minutes drive from Stansted Airport.
The museum is about 90 minutes drive from the ferry terminal at
Harwich on the A14; five and a half hours from Newhaven ferry port
on the A27, M3, M25 and M11 and approximately four and a half hours
drive from Dover and the Channel Tunnel via M20, M25, M11.
